Pain, now what?
You’ve got pain.

Maybe it crept in gradually.
Maybe it flared up after a run, a gym session, a stressful week, or a bad night’s sleep.

You’ve probably:
-
Stretched it.
-
Ignored it.
-
Googled it.
-
Wondered if you need a scan.
-
Hoped it would just go away.

And now you’re stuck thinking:
“I don’t even know what I need.”

That’s completely normal.

First things first
Pain is rarely random.
It’s usually a sign that something has shifted: in your training load, your stress levels, your sleep, your posture, your recovery, or the way you’re moving.
It doesn’t automatically mean you’re damaged.
It doesn’t automatically mean you need to stop everything.
But it does mean your body is asking for a bit of attention and clarity.

What happens when you come in?
You don’t need to know what treatment you need.
You just need a starting point.
In your first session we will:
-
Talk through what’s been happening (when it started, what makes it worse, what helps)
-
Look at how you move — not just where it hurts
-
Treat the irritated or overloaded tissue
-
Zoom out and look at the bigger picture (training, desk setup, stress, habits)
-
Agree on a clear plan so you’re not guessing anymore
You’ll leave understanding what’s going on and what the next step is.
Not just “that felt nice.”

But what if this isn’t right for me?
If massage isn’t appropriate for your situation, I’ll tell you.
If something needs medical input, I’ll say so.
You’re not booking blind. You’re booking a professional opinion and a practical next step.

When to seek medical help first
If you’ve had a significant trauma,
or you’re experiencing unexplained weight loss, fever,
or changes in bladder or bowel control —
please see your GP or urgent care first.
Everything else?
Most muscular and joint pain responds very well to targeted, progressive treatment.

You don’t need a perfect plan.
You don’t need the right terminology.
You don’t need to diagnose yourself.
You just need someone to help you make sense of what’s happening.
If your body isn’t cooperating and you’re not sure what to do next,
book an Initial Assessment & Treatment and we’ll figure it out together.
